Today the GGP is 100% volunteer driven. An amazing feat! In 2019, with three functioning domes, GGP will require the services of a professional greenhouse manager, knowledgeable in best practices for pesticide free greenhouse production. This manager will oversee greenhouses, gardens and volunteers. Staffing, however, requires a predictable income – which Sustaining Membership provides.
Here’s how it works. As a Sustaining Member you decide upon a monthly donation, a figure that works for you, go to our website (pagosagreen.org) and make that pledge. With a monthly pledge of $20 or more, you will become a Guardian of the Greenhouse with special privileges including harvesting privileges in the GGP beds, advance notice of GGP special events, and a special Guardian of the Greenhouse t-shirt. All participants are rewarded with the knowledge that they are key to our success, “Growing Food and Community with Local Energy.”
Donations of $250/year or more qualify for the Colorado Enterprise Zone Tax Credit. Qualifying 2018 Sustaining Memberships will receive notification of their EZ tax credits soon.
